Trials Academy support Australian TDN Team

The Australian Trials Academy has made a generous donation to the Australian Trials des Nation Team for 2015, presenting a cheque for over $2600 to Team manager Phil Whittle at the opening of The Hell Team 2015 Australian Trials Championship.

Academy principal Paul Arnott said; “The Academy was always set up with a twofold mission statement, firstly we wanted to get new riders into our sport by offering day courses where riders could experience a proper modern trials bike, and by tutored by the best riders in the country, giving them a strong foundation to enter the sport.train-saw

Then secondly to give those coaches that have put so much personal training in over the years, to be able to get a wage for their training days, and also create a pool of money that could be injected back into the sport at an elite level to help them achieve not only their goals of competing overseas, but encourage the next generation of up coming riders as well”.

TDN Team manager Phil Whittle was thrilled with the donation and indicated he would put it to good use in Spain this year by purchasing pit equipment, including a marquee, bike stands and tools that could be used not only for the 2015 Team, but be stored in Europe and used in subsequent years by the Australian Teams.

Paul Arnott said The Academy would ramp up again in the next few months as the weather is getting warmer, and he would be scheduling days as soon as the riders/coaches were back from their trip to Spain competing in the 2015 TDN.
